Spent most of the weekend on this and I am still not sure I understand it. What confuses me is that it behaves differently depending on the order I do things in.

Quick one for the people who have put more hours into this than me. The default settings are clearly tuned for a different setup than mine.

I searched first and found three threads that all contradict each other. The in-game explanation and the actual behaviour do not appear to match.
