Controller drift — which brands held up for you?

Quick one for the people who have put more hours into this than me. What confuses me is that it behaves differently depending on the order I do things in.

    Worth checking first: check whether an overlay is running before blaming the game itself.

    Slightly different take — you get most of the benefit from the first adjustment; everything after that is marginal.

    Depends on your setup, but broadly the trick is to change one thing at a time and actually note the result before touching anything else.

    Speaking as someone who got it wrong initially, do the cheap diagnostic first — it costs nothing and rules out half the causes.

    Short version: if it only happens in one mode, that narrows it down considerably.

    Others may have a cleaner method.
