[Zenless Zone Zero] Summer sale — what did you actually buy?

Quick one for the people who have put more hours into this than me. Turning one setting down fixed it, which raises more questions than it answers.

Feel free to tell me I have missed something obvious.

Slightly different take — the difference is real but small enough that you may not notice it while playing.

Only partly related, but worth testing on a second account to rule out something profile-specific.

Worth checking first: region and server load matter more than most guides acknowledge.

This comes up a lot, so: the averages hide the problem; look at the one percent lows instead.

Had the exact same issue. keep a note of what you changed, otherwise you cannot undo it cleanly later.

Speaking as someone who got it wrong initially, this changed for me after the last patch, so older threads may steer you wrong.

Report back once you have tried it.

Had the exact same issue. give it a clean reinstall before assuming the hardware is at fault.

I went through this last month. if it only happens in one mode, that narrows it down considerably.

Others may have a cleaner method.

This comes up a lot, so: the safe move is the reversible one — you can always undo it if it makes things worse.

Good luck, it is a common snag.

This is the bit people miss — do the cheap diagnostic first — it costs nothing and rules out half the causes.

Others may have a cleaner method.

I went through this last month. the wiki number is theoretical; real results are always a bit lower.

The usual fix here is the community guide covers this better than I can, but the summary is to prioritise the basics first.

Quick correction to the above: the averages hide the problem; look at the one percent lows instead.

The usual fix here is verify the files before anything else; it catches more problems than people expect.

Adding to the above: the wiki number is theoretical; real results are always a bit lower.

Had the exact same issue. nine times out of ten it is a driver or a background process, not the thing you suspect.
