RAID: Shadow Legends
Which champions did you regret food-ing?
Spent most of the weekend on this and I am still not sure I understand it. The numbers look fine on paper, but it feels noticeably worse in practice.

What confuses me is that it behaves differently depending on the order I do things in. Hopefully this saves someone else the afternoon it cost me.

Had the exact same issue. the trick is to change one thing at a time and actually note the result before touching anything else.

From experience, measure before and after, otherwise you are just guessing whether it helped.

Agreed on most of this, except worth testing on a second account to rule out something profile-specific.

Only partly related, but temperature is the usual culprit when performance degrades over a session.

Not the answer you want, but worth testing on a second account to rule out something profile-specific.
Worth a shot before anything drastic.

Speaking as someone who got it wrong initially, region and server load matter more than most guides acknowledge.
Report back once you have tried it.

Short version: region and server load matter more than most guides acknowledge.

Not the answer you want, but the averages hide the problem; look at the one percent lows instead.

Counterpoint: nine times out of ten it is a driver or a background process, not the thing you suspect.
Others may have a cleaner method.

This is the bit people miss — do the cheap diagnostic first — it costs nothing and rules out half the causes.

Adding to the above: measure before and after, otherwise you are just guessing whether it helped.

Not the answer you want, but that behaviour is intentional, even though it is poorly explained in-game.

Depends on your setup, but broadly the community guide covers this better than I can, but the summary is to prioritise the basics first.

This comes up a lot, so: nine times out of ten it is a driver or a background process, not the thing you suspect.
