   I went through this last month. the averages hide the problem; look at the one percent lows instead.

   Others may have a cleaner method.

   Only partly related, but this changed for me after the last patch, so older threads may steer you wrong.

   That fixed it for me, at least.

   Adding to the above: temperature is the usual culprit when performance degrades over a session.

   Report back once you have tried it.

    I went through this last month. do not copy someone else’s config wholesale — start from defaults and adjust to your own setup.

    Let us know which part worked.
