RAID: Shadow Legends

Energy management for free-to-play accounts

Finally worked this out, so here is the write-up I wish I had found. Everything I read suggests it should just work, and for me it very much does not.

It seems to depend heavily on region, which nobody mentions anywhere. Feel free to tell me I have missed something obvious.

Depends on your setup, but broadly verify the files before anything else; it catches more problems than people expect.

In my testing, do not copy someone else’s config wholesale — start from defaults and adjust to your own setup.

Others may have a cleaner method.

Short version: region and server load matter more than most guides acknowledge.

That fixed it for me, at least.

I went through this last month. this changed for me after the last patch, so older threads may steer you wrong.

In my testing, give it a clean reinstall before assuming the hardware is at fault.

Let us know which part worked.

Slightly different take — nine times out of ten it is a driver or a background process, not the thing you suspect.

I went through this last month. temperature is the usual culprit when performance degrades over a session.

In my testing, check whether an overlay is running before blaming the game itself.

The usual fix here is temperature is the usual culprit when performance degrades over a session.

Good luck, it is a common snag.

Depends on your setup, but broadly worth testing on a second account to rule out something profile-specific.

Same boat here. the community guide covers this better than I can, but the summary is to prioritise the basics first.

The usual fix here is you get most of the benefit from the first adjustment; everything after that is marginal.

Only partly related, but the averages hide the problem; look at the one percent lows instead.

Worth checking first: it is almost always a setting rather than hardware, so try the free fixes before spending anything.

Agreed on most of this, except if it only happens in one mode, that narrows it down considerably.

This comes up a lot, so: the wiki number is theoretical; real results are always a bit lower.
