[Marvel Rivals] Stutter on shader compilation — what actually fixes it

Every guide I can find skips the part I am actually stuck on. What confuses me is that it behaves differently depending on the order I do things in.

    Quick correction to the above: do the cheap diagnostic first — it costs nothing and rules out half the causes.

    Depends on your setup, but broadly nine times out of ten it is a driver or a background process, not the thing you suspect.

    Worth checking first: the averages hide the problem; look at the one percent lows instead.

    That fixed it for me, at least.
