Neverness to Everness — Do you cap your frame rate on purpose?

Long-time lurker, first proper post. The thing that keeps tripping me up is that everyone assumes you already know the basics, and the wiki is out of date.

The numbers look fine on paper, but it feels noticeably worse in practice. Will update the post if I find a cleaner solution.

Short version: the defaults are conservative on purpose, so there is usually headroom to gain.
