   Worth checking first: the safe move is the reversible one — you can always undo it if it makes things worse.

   Controller versus mouse and keyboard for the driving sections (Asia servers)

   Not sure if this is the right board, move me if needed. Everything I read suggests it should just work, and for me it very much does not. Rolling back to the previous version made the problem disappear entirely. Hopefully this saves someone else the afternoon it cost me.

   Thermal paste reapplication — how much did it help?

   Short version: the difference is real but small enough that you may not notice it while playing.

   Traversal feels great once it opens up

   Coming back after a long break and trying to catch up. I do not want to sink more time or money into it before I understand what I am optimising for. What confuses me is that it behaves differently depending on the order I do things in. Curious whether that matches what everyone else is seeing.

    This is the bit people miss — the averages hide the problem; look at the one percent lows instead. Worth a shot before anything drastic.
