   Posting this mostly so the next person searching finds an answer. The patch notes hinted at this but never actually spelled it out.

   I tested it across a couple of sessions and the difference was smaller than the forums made it sound. Marking this solved once something actually works.

   Quick correction to the above: the safe move is the reversible one — you can always undo it if it makes things worse.

   I went through this last month. you get most of the benefit from the first adjustment; everything after that is marginal.
