   Would you recommend Clash Royale to a total beginner?

   I went through this last month. you get most of the benefit from the first adjustment; everything after that is marginal.

   Controller versus mouse and keyboard for the driving sections (high refresh rate)

   Spent most of the weekend on this and I am still not sure I understand it. The default settings are clearly tuned for a different setup than mine. Thanks in advance to anyone who chips in.

   Wuthering Waves — Do you finish games any more, or just move on?

   For what it is worth, the defaults are conservative on purpose, so there is usually headroom to gain. Others may have a cleaner method.

   [Zenless Zone Zero] Thermal paste reapplication — how much did it help?

   For what it is worth, check whether an overlay is running before blaming the game itself. That fixed it for me, at least.

   Speaking as someone who got it wrong initially, nine times out of ten it is a driver or a background process, not the thing you suspect. Let us know which part worked.

    Playing on a schedule versus playing whenever

    Had the exact same issue. the averages hide the problem; look at the one percent lows instead.
