Photo mode shots from the rooftops (still unresolved)

I want to get ahead of this before it becomes a habit. I tested it across a couple of sessions and the difference was smaller than the forums made it sound.

The difference only becomes obvious once you look at the frame times rather than the average. I will report back once I have tested it properly.

This is the bit people miss — that behaviour is intentional, even though it is poorly explained in-game.

Worth checking first: the difference is real but small enough that you may not notice it while playing.

Others may have a cleaner method.

I went through this last month. it depends heavily on your specific setup, so take any single number with a grain of salt.

Quick correction to the above: if it only happens in one mode, that narrows it down considerably.

Same boat here. give it a clean reinstall before assuming the hardware is at fault.

Worth checking first: the defaults are conservative on purpose, so there is usually headroom to gain.

Speaking as someone who got it wrong initially, you get most of the benefit from the first adjustment; everything after that is marginal.
