[Old School RuneScape] Bundle maths — when is it actually cheaper?
Third attempt at getting this right, so bear with me. I got it working once and then could not repeat it, which is the frustrating part.

The numbers look fine on paper, but it feels noticeably worse in practice. Happy to be told I am overthinking it.

Had the exact same issue. keep a note of what you changed, otherwise you cannot undo it cleanly later.
That fixed it for me, at least.

Agreed on most of this, except keep a note of what you changed, otherwise you cannot undo it cleanly later.

Speaking as someone who got it wrong initially, give it a clean reinstall before assuming the hardware is at fault.
Others may have a cleaner method.

Counterpoint: you get most of the benefit from the first adjustment; everything after that is marginal.
Worth a shot before anything drastic.

Counterpoint: measure before and after, otherwise you are just guessing whether it helped.

This is the bit people miss — if it only happens in one mode, that narrows it down considerably.

Counterpoint: the difference is real but small enough that you may not notice it while playing.

Speaking as someone who got it wrong initially, the trick is to change one thing at a time and actually note the result before touching anything else.
