Wuthering Waves — Black screen after latest driver update

Been chewing on this for a while, so I figured I would ask here. Once it clicked, it felt obvious, but getting there took far longer than it should have.

Been chewing on this for a while, so I figured I would ask here. Once it clicked, it felt obvious, but getting there took far longer than it should have.

I got it working once and then could not repeat it, which is the frustrating part. Would rather learn the right way now than build a bad habit.

From experience, ignore the loudest advice; the boring answer is usually the correct one here.

This comes up a lot, so: if it only happens in one mode, that narrows it down considerably.

Not the answer you want, but check whether an overlay is running before blaming the game itself.

In my testing, do not copy someone else’s config wholesale — start from defaults and adjust to your own setup.

Let us know which part worked.

Not the answer you want, but worth testing on a second account to rule out something profile-specific.

Slightly different take — the trick is to change one thing at a time and actually note the result before touching anything else.

Report back once you have tried it.
