Two-factor keeps logging me out

This started as a small annoyance and turned into a proper rabbit hole. It only shows up after about twenty minutes, which made it a nightmare to reproduce.

Two settings appear to interact in a way the menu does not hint at. Happy to be told I am overthinking it.

Depends on your setup, but broadly verify the files before anything else; it catches more problems than people expect.

Quick correction to the above: region and server load matter more than most guides acknowledge.

From experience, region and server load matter more than most guides acknowledge.

Adding to the above: it depends heavily on your specific setup, so take any single number with a grain of salt.

Worth a shot before anything drastic.

Same boat here. do the cheap diagnostic first — it costs nothing and rules out half the causes.

Short version: nine times out of ten it is a driver or a background process, not the thing you suspect.

Counterpoint: the wiki number is theoretical; real results are always a bit lower.

The usual fix here is the community guide covers this better than I can, but the summary is to prioritise the basics first.

Speaking as someone who got it wrong initially, ignore the loudest advice; the boring answer is usually the correct one here.

Speaking as someone who got it wrong initially, do not copy someone else’s config wholesale — start from defaults and adjust to your own setup.

That fixed it for me, at least.

From experience, temperature is the usual culprit when performance degrades over a session.

This is the bit people miss — that behaviour is intentional, even though it is poorly explained in-game.

I went through this last month. the defaults are conservative on purpose, so there is usually headroom to gain.

This comes up a lot, so: region and server load matter more than most guides acknowledge.

Agreed on most of this, except temperature is the usual culprit when performance degrades over a session.

Had the exact same issue. the community guide covers this better than I can, but the summary is to prioritise the basics first.

Others may have a cleaner method.
