[Fortnite] Cross-save not syncing — anyone else?

Long-time lurker, first proper post. It seems to depend heavily on region, which nobody mentions anywhere.

Half the advice online is a year out of date, which is why I wanted a current thread. Interested in the counter-argument if there is one.

Short version: if it only happens in one mode, that narrows it down considerably.

From experience, measure before and after, otherwise you are just guessing whether it helped.

Depends on your setup, but broadly do the cheap diagnostic first — it costs nothing and rules out half the causes.

For what it is worth, ignore the loudest advice; the boring answer is usually the correct one here.
