Spider 10 team check before I commit gear

Coming back after a long break and trying to catch up. I assumed it was a known issue, but I cannot find anyone else describing it.

Coming back after a long break and trying to catch up. I assumed it was a known issue, but I cannot find anyone else describing it.

The patch notes hinted at this but never actually spelled it out. Any pointers appreciated, even partial ones.

Not the answer you want, but the difference is real but small enough that you may not notice it while playing.

Speaking as someone who got it wrong initially, give it a clean reinstall before assuming the hardware is at fault.

Depends on your setup, but broadly do not copy someone else’s config wholesale — start from defaults and adjust to your own setup.

Only partly related, but keep a note of what you changed, otherwise you cannot undo it cleanly later.

From experience, do not copy someone else’s config wholesale — start from defaults and adjust to your own setup.

Good luck, it is a common snag.

Counterpoint: verify the files before anything else; it catches more problems than people expect.

Let us know which part worked.

Had the exact same issue. temperature is the usual culprit when performance degrades over a session.

For what it is worth, the community guide covers this better than I can, but the summary is to prioritise the basics first.

Speaking as someone who got it wrong initially, it depends heavily on your specific setup, so take any single number with a grain of salt.

Not the answer you want, but the averages hide the problem; look at the one percent lows instead.

In my testing, it depends heavily on your specific setup, so take any single number with a grain of salt.
