Two of us tried the same thing and got different results, hence the thread. Rolling back to the previous version made the problem disappear entirely.

    Two settings appear to interact in a way the menu does not hint at. Happy to be told I am overthinking it.

    This comes up a lot, so: measure before and after, otherwise you are just guessing whether it helped.

    I went through this last month. the defaults are conservative on purpose, so there is usually headroom to gain.

    Same boat here. nine times out of ten it is a driver or a background process, not the thing you suspect.

    That fixed it for me, at least.
