[Mech Arena] iOS vs Android for the same game — any difference?

Bit of a niche question, but this seems like the right crowd for it. Everything I read suggests it should just work, and for me it very much does not.

It seems to depend heavily on region, which nobody mentions anywhere. Feel free to tell me I have missed something obvious.

Same boat here. that behaviour is intentional, even though it is poorly explained in-game.
