Warranty claims — which brands made it painless?

I have read the FAQ and it does not cover this case. The difference only becomes obvious once you look at the frame times rather than the average.

Two settings appear to interact in a way the menu does not hint at. I will report back once I have tested it properly.

Same boat here. the averages hide the problem; look at the one percent lows instead.

Worth a shot before anything drastic.

Agreed on most of this, except the wiki number is theoretical; real results are always a bit lower.

That fixed it for me, at least.
