Audio mix seems off in cutscenes for anyone else? (Asia servers)

Coming back after a long break and trying to catch up. The community consensus seems to have shifted twice since I last played.

Coming back after a long break and trying to catch up. The community consensus seems to have shifted twice since I last played.

If someone has a link to a proper explanation, I will take it.

Only partly related, but do not copy someone else’s config wholesale — start from defaults and adjust to your own setup.

Slightly different take — it is almost always a setting rather than hardware, so try the free fixes before spending anything.

Slightly different take — give it a clean reinstall before assuming the hardware is at fault.

Same boat here. the safe move is the reversible one — you can always undo it if it makes things worse.

Worth a shot before anything drastic.

In my testing, the safe move is the reversible one — you can always undo it if it makes things worse.

Others may have a cleaner method.

Counterpoint: the community guide covers this better than I can, but the summary is to prioritise the basics first.

Adding to the above: region and server load matter more than most guides acknowledge.

Not the answer you want, but ignore the loudest advice; the boring answer is usually the correct one here.

Only partly related, but check whether an overlay is running before blaming the game itself.

Only partly related, but verify the files before anything else; it catches more problems than people expect.

Only partly related, but the averages hide the problem; look at the one percent lows instead.

This comes up a lot, so: check whether an overlay is running before blaming the game itself.

From experience, the wiki number is theoretical; real results are always a bit lower.
