Genshin Impact — How many games do you have going at once?

Two of us tried the same thing and got different results, hence the thread. The difference only becomes obvious once you look at the frame times rather than the average.

    The default settings are clearly tuned for a different setup than mine. Hopefully this saves someone else the afternoon it cost me.

    For what it is worth, measure before and after, otherwise you are just guessing whether it helped.

    Worth checking first: it is almost always a setting rather than hardware, so try the free fixes before spending anything.

    Others may have a cleaner method.

    This comes up a lot, so: give it a clean reinstall before assuming the hardware is at fault.

    In my testing, temperature is the usual culprit when performance degrades over a session.
